Roles of the Planning unit
- Human resource management in the district.
- Planning, Implementation, Monitoring, Supervision and Progress Review of Development activities in the district.
- Identification and implementation of training programmes.
- Identify and purchase required medical and non-medical equipment for health institutions in the district.
- Develop long, medium and short term development plans.
- Renovation and maintenance of the buildings in health institutions by the maintenance unit.
- Planning, supervision and implementation of information and communication technology activities in health institutions.
